You Can't Stop Me

It’s a systematic approach to the downfall of our society that causes us to stand on the platform of anxiety

Fear of power or losing it causes us to lose the ability to enjoy parades or regular days just driving to your next location produces hesitation. Will my skin be a deterrent? Will my name be a hinge? Does the fact that I’m a Christian lump me into a category that believes others will singe without being forgiven?

I wake up each day wondering if the box that I check on my marital status will cause malice because I have a son that is not a product of a marriage.

Yet I remember and I pray that this day is a temporary fate, nothing else is guaranteed so after 10 years of teaching I administer the faith to all children that they will win. We must. Trust that there is no other option and that college is a precaution and a not a necessity a stop that doesn’t prevent you from getting shot or being a victim to the prejudice and judgement that comes from being a single parent I am a powerful force to be reckoned with and I will pass that power on to them.
